The Nationals have signed Max Scherzer putting Tanner Roark out of a job, but the Nationals have to find another solution, because Roark was one of the best pitchers in the majors last season. His 5.1 WAR last year was 10th best in baseball, better than numerous well known aces like Jon Lester, David Price, Zack Greinke, Madison Bumgarner, James Shields, and more. Tanner Roark is arguably the most underrated pitcher in all of major league baseball and for this reason the Nationals should choose to trade either Gio Gonzalez or Stephen Strasburg who are not as good as Roark, but will most likely get more talent in return. The Nationals can have likely the best rotation of this past decade if they chose to keep Tanner Roark in it. |

I'm a Nationals fan... this is what I've been thinking too. I'd bet they realize just how important and good Roark is. If not, I might be out of luck for the World Series this year.

Thanks for your support of my blog. I think that although the Nationals are a fantastic team with some players That have even more talent than most people know and others who every fan of baseball has heard of. Roark is the former. I'm hoping Nats management comes to their senses soon because I'd hate to see this treasure only pitching 1 or 2 innings every other day for the whole season.
