Jed Lowrie has signed with the Astros for the next three years. He has a very underestimated bat and is looking to bounce back from a slightly down year in 2014 in which he earned 1.8 oWAR less than half of his 2013 oWAR of 4.4.
Lowrie is projected to earn a 7.7 oWAr over the next three years with the Astros. at $23 million total Lowrie will earn $3 million per win above replacement. Lowrie is a bargain infielder for the lowest budget team in the majors that has to figure out how to field a respectable team with about a third of the average $ per team.
